Marvelous May Memories!! Buzz and Bumble ...and...Dad!!

The kids and I had a wonderful time in Phoenix...sunning and swimming and playing pickle-ball ! The temps were 10 degrees above normal and just what I needed to relax a little.

Our last party was so much fun. My daughter Abby has been promoted from my #1 assistant to my #1 business partner!! It was her idea to have a Kids Club that she teaches at the same time as our crafting parties for children of our crafting ladies. I'll take pics of their projects next time to share. She obviously sees how much fun I have with you all- and wants in on it too!!

I have a conflict the third Sat of the month in May. Several of my friends and I are staging our own math teacher intervention or education- one of our dear friends is having her first child and we are carpooling from Mt. Vernon to Spokane, WA (6 hours) to throw a baby shower and properly welcome this child into the world...math geek style!!

The weekend I have available is Memorial Day. I know it's popular to go camping...but it almost ALWAYS RAINS... I'm going to hold the party on Monday from 1-4 pm....maybe after you come home early from camping, dry off, warm up...you can join us!!

For cards this month...we've got two super-cute Father's Day choices, and two other choices that can be made for general note cards (as shown) or sentiments can be switched out for Birthday or thank you cards.

These two feature the Buzz and Bumble designer papers we will be using and the greetings can be customized to fit your needs. The top one also uses the April SOTM- My Sunshine!

I love how these Father's Day cards turned out...a combination of a little Pinterest pilfering for sentiments and Buzz and Bumble inspiration!

The sentiments were typed on my computer and can be customized for the Grandpa's "term of endearment"!!

Since 'staches are all the rage, I made up this cutie from an inspiration I spotted on Pinterest and our super swaggin' perfect Fit- Fathers Day stamp set!!

In case the photo isn't clear enough, it says, "a Father is a man with snapshots in his wallet where his money used to be." The pocket is "Fully functional" and could be filled with a gift card, photos, or both!!

For the card workshop, you get to make 6 cards for $20. Because everybody's family is different, please let me know how many of each father's day card you would like, the term of endearment you would like for each "Grandpa" card, and how many of the "you're tweet" or "hi" card you would like to create to round out your package of 6. Older kids may split the kit with you...or can add any three cards on for an additional $10.

I didn't forget about the scrappers....the $20 kits below feature two pre-cut pages (below), the remainder of a designer paper packet- Buzz and Bumble, and a designer complements kit- to embellish the second page!!

Abby will again be offering her Kids Club at the same time. Kids may come with mom and work on a variety of craft projects for a $5 supply fee. They will be making a few gifts for Dad next month.

In order to prepare, Abby and I need a commitment by May 10th. Please let me know the following in your email:

April is Awesome- Part Two!!

April is Awesome!!!

SPRING Break!!! We are headed to Phoenix to see my mom and dad for the week....AND...I'm already excited for our next party!

We're going to experiment...one group offered Friday night..6-9pm on the 19th....and a second offered the next day from 1-4pm on Sat the 20th. My daughter Abby is very excited to offer her first kids's club class. On Sat your child (5-11 years old)  can play at their own table in the basement with us while you scrapbook or make cards. Abby is only charging $5 per child for supplies. Older kids are welcome to share your kit or add on 3 cards for $10 more. We can talk details if you're interested.
 I love how the projects turned out...$20 will get you a seat in my basement craft room, snacks, a girl's night out, a 12 page paper packet "Claire", a coordinating canvas sticker set, and two prepared 2-page layouts.. These will be started for you from you package of designer CTMH paper. You will still have half a package of paper leftover.

This is a starting point- needs some embellishments and personalization!

This would be even better with a pink background...but I wanted those of us with boys to have options too!!

Here are two of the three card designs ...the third is my favorite...a Mother's Day card that you will proud to give...I'll post it tomorrow...these are cute too! Couldn't decide on a greting...Bday??...thank you??...sympathy....You decide!!! $20 for 2 of each design. All materials will be prepared for you to assemble and envelopes are included.

March 16th, 6-9pm....Partytime!!!

Here are the projects that we will be working on for our next workshop. I would like to pre-order the materials. Please let me know if you would like to attend and if you would like to make 6 cards for $20 or the two layout pages for $20. You may pay me the next time you see me so that I can order and prepare the materials for our meeting March 16th.

this layout will accommodate 2- 4" by 4" and 2- 4" by 6" and 2- 3" by 3" photos. It hasn't had the embellishments added yet- It could be made very girly and Springy- or the pinks could be reversed for more blues, yellows, and greens.

This one has Easter written all over it...okay...it will when I finish the banner!! I love the choices in this Chantilly paper pack...if you don't want any pink...there are great blue, green, and yellow patterns as well. Scrapbookers will have plenty of designer paper left to make very cute Spring or Easter cards from their card stock stash.

these cards are a sample of the 3 designs we will be making... I am waiting on a stamp set to arrive so that I can finish the card on the right. The center card could be switched from Easter to Happy Birthday or Thank You. I like the card on the left....but I don't love it yet... It's missing a little somethin' somethin'

Sat, Feb 16th is Clementine Partytime!!!

Life's been a little hectic, but I'm ready to party...okay, let's face it...I need to talk to people over the age of eight...scratch that...over the age of 18!!! I'm changing the format a little. I love the crafting creativeness...but I need a little more time to plan ahead. CLICK the tab above for complete details. I am looking for a group that would like to commit to meeting once every month- but guests are welcome to drop in also. Below are the 3 cards for the month...guests will make 2 of each for $20...keep them all for yourself, or share them with a girlfriend! Jan 19th, 6-9pm Valentine Party!!!

Just finished some super-cute cards and gifts for Valentines day. This month, our card-making group will make two cards and a cute decorated treat tube that can be filled with candy or treats of the recipients liking! The kit for all three are $10 this Saturday.
