I have a lot of "Scrapper's Guilt" over the empty books on my shelf. My kids are 8 now and the last book that looks like it might be finished (it really isn't) is when they were 3!! I love the cutting and pasting and planning and choosing- let's face it everything- about scrap booking, but my memory is not what it used to be. I am not good about writing things down- so I'm afraid that precious things that went along with the pictures are being lost...thus, the GUILT.
Close to my Heart has a companion web version of scrap booking that shares the same"look" and design principles, papers, and embellishments- but in an electronic version. Layouts can be designed online in a matter of minutes and are printed on the highest quality of 12" by 12" papers and print finishes and shipped to your home to drop into your sleeve protectors. No photo processing to pay for (and guessing what size you will want) and no need to haul out the mountain of supplies. (Don't get me wrong.....I LOVE my mountain of toys!)
At first, I balked over the idea of putting a picture of a scrap book page in my precious albums....but then I thought, it's going underneath a plastic sleeve....in an album. Most of it's pretty flat anyways. And my end result is a family history. Let's face it. Someone wants to know who was the fist kid to walk....I dunno.....let's get out the albums.
I have several layouts waiting for printing. I have done them in 10-15 minutes each- in between activities or waiting for the spaghetti water to boil. I will ship them together for one $6 shipping fee and the pages are only $7 for a 2-page layout. A bargain when you consider that I didn't pay for any photo processing, papers, adhesives, or embellishments- but I still get that great CTMH "look". When a layout is ordered, High quality jpegs of the files will be emailed to me if I choose to reprint on my own or so that I can share them with you all here or email them to family on the East Coast. The jpegs are FREE with purchase!
Sorry for such a long post...but this is a product that I am very excited about using and one that I am excited to share with you....keep checking back for images of my Studio J layouts!!
